Before way of winter scenario launched, I put together the optimal base design for heating or cooling. Patch 1.3 brought some unwanted building changes with it, so I started work on v2, after a couple of tower defences, I've now finalised this iteration of the best starter once human base for the new temperatuer survival, thermal tower.
