Lai Movie (Nunnak Zilthli-1)

Nunnak Zilthli is a Chin-Canadian independent film, which was produced in Vancouver, Canada. Back in 2010, as a part of a cultural project, my two friends and I were involved in the production of a low budget indie film that tries to portray the lives of new immigrants in Canada. More explicitly, the film deals with identity crisis and community survival. We believe that by making social realist kind of film we could contribute to society at large and Chin community in particular.
At a personal level, the film project gave us an amazing experience and tons of good memories since we had the opportunity to work with such versatile, talented, and dedicated people. We genuinely thank each and everyone who made the film happen. It was truly an honour being involved in the creation of such an important work of art. Thank you!
