What is more quintessentially New York than the creativity, drama, artistry, and entertainment of Broadway? With the pandemic shuttering theaters, this long “intermission” has taken a toll on all of us, but especially all the actors, musicians, stage crews, and theater workers, who bring this art to life. That’s why the Young People’s Chorus of New York City collaborated with the University Glee Club of New York City to record their version of “Brotherhood of Man,” from Broadway’s HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. This vibrant ode pays tribute to all the people of Broadway, the heroes who bring so much life and joy to New York City.

HEROES a virtual album of newly arranged and reimagined songs, recorded and performed in the key of love, and dedicated to all the New York City essential workers who have been keeping us safe and lifting our spirits throughout the pandemic. Each performance evokes the emotions of the children at this unique moment in time.
