Bearing Packing

As part of a disc brake swap I'm working on, I thought I'd do a vid about packing grease into the roller bearings. There are vehicles out there with ball bearings and sealed bearings, but the vast majority use roller bearing like this. In the first half, I use a common, manual bearing packer. In the second half, I show how to pack the bearing by hand. Many years ago, an old timer at the base auto hobby shop ..lol....he was probably younger then, than I am now....showed me how to do this after I smoked a front wheel bearing that I thought I packed correctly. Sorry the vid cuts off abruptly at the end, but the memory card filled up. I was done anyway.
