The forests of southern Cameroon were once home to the indigenous Baka Pygmies. For the past 60 years, the exploitation of the forest by logging companies has pushed the Pygmies ever further away from their ancestral grounds. But in mid-March, one of the major players in the logging industry – the French company Rougier - filed for bankruptcy. Many Pygmies now hope they can live in harmony with the forest once again. Our correspondents report.
