Currently operating in four locations, including public housing estates and peri-urban Pakenham, the organisation is set to expand to Richmond and Melton. A 2024 impact evaluation found that 75% of customers eat more fresh produce, and 98% feel a stronger sense of community.

Driven by a passionate team, The Community Grocer prioritises relationships over transactions. It not only improves food access but also fosters employment pathways and social support, making it a cornerstone of the communities it serves.
