Technological solutions throughout the wind energy value chain for cost reduction, sustainability and #EnergySecurity

The #Decarbonisation of the energy system, transport, building, industry and other sectors requires the mass integration of renewable energies. Wind power today covers 16% of Europe's electricity demand. The European Commission considers that half of the electricity in 2050 will be wind, with output going from the current 220 GW to 1,300 GW. That means a 25-fold increase in offshore wind energy in the EU.
