Update/Progress of DELHI MEERUT EXPRESSWAY Current Status as on 17 Jan 2018.


Project Details are the Following

National Highway 24 Delhi, Ghaziabad, Dasna, Hapur, Meerut Six Lane Expressway in middle, Eight Lane Normal Highway, 2.5 Meter Bicycle Track on both side, widening work on this corridor was started in May 2016. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji was laid the foundation stone of this widening project on 31st Dec 2015 in Noida Sector 62 Stadium. The construction project of widening NH 24 from 4 Lane to 14 Lanes continues postponed from past 10 years, but finally widening work in progress.

National Highway 24 is the lifeline of Ghaziabad, when this project is complete it will help Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi residential & commercial project like Wave City, Crossing Republik, Gaur City Greater Noida West, Eco Village etc.

NH 24 Widening Plan and Delhi-Meerut Expressway
First two portions - Nizamuddin Bridge to UP Gate and UP Gate to Dasna - will be widened to 14 lanes include 06 lanes ( Delhi-Meerut Expressway ) at the center which is barricaded corridor for straight going traffic. The remaining portion Dasna to Hapur will be 08 lane highway.

NH 24 Widening | Delhi Meerut Expressway Completion Date
From Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to UP Gate on NH 24: Scheduled to complete on 26 May 2019 but we will finish it by January 2018 (said by NHAI)
From UP Gate to Dasna: Complete in 2020 but again this one too will accomplish by February 2019.
From Dasna to Hapur: Complete on June 2018 well before the scheduled date.
From Dasna to Meerut: If all goes well, the work will start only in March 2018 and will complete in at least two years, i.e. by 2020.

Dasna to Hapur 22.2 KM Long, 8 Lane Normal Highway (Previously it was 6 lane but in Sep-Oct 2016 Board Meeting It Update to 8 Lanes) 1 Flyover 12 Underpass
Dasna to Meerut 46 KM Long, 6 Lane Expressway ( Greenfield Alignment)
