This very short clip is from Star Trek: The Next Generation Season One, (when Denise Crosby played Chief of Security Lieutenant Natasha Yar). In 1987/88 Crosby decided to leave the show and even though her character is killed by Armus in "Skin of Evil", they shot the preceeding episode "Symbiosis" last. Look in the cargobay in the background, you will see her waving goodbye to the camera and her fans! A pure and true TNG moment.
