Many boxing fans believe that Tyson Fury outboxed and outpointed Deontay Wilder by making him miss punches and landing combinations. Wilder vs. Fury 1 was a low volume fight. The Englishman slipped and avoided most of Wilder's punches and proved to be the superior boxer

Still Deontay Wilder managed to knock down Fury twice, once in 9th and once in 12th round. Fury managed to beat referee's ten count, get up and win the rest of the round. The judges had different opinion and declared the match a split decision draw. This is one more boxing fight ended in a controversial split draw.

A lot of boxing commentators offer perspectives and share their opinion yet present them as fact. As boxing fans we need to understand the difference between opinion and fact. If we can't separate opinion from fact we fall into the trap of believing a false narrative.
