Time and time again I've said that I consider Bob Dylan the greatest songwriter that ever lived. And though there are incredible musical minds out there, completely otherworldly from the likes of Stevie Wonder to Paul McCartney, when it comes to simple, pure songwriting, there's no one like Bob Dylan. There are times that I think "You know, this songwriter's incredible, he might be up there with Dylan." However, no one is really. The proof it all? Almost anyone can sing a Dylan song, and it still sounds good. The songs supersede the performers.There's only one Shakespeare, and there's only one Bob Dylan.
