1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Coupe w111 - the classic beauty

This magnificent coupé has been completely restored. The ALL TIME STARS experts oversaw the restoration of this vehicle; the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Coupe (W 111) is now in the same condition in which it was delivered in 1970. Utmost importance was attached to authenticity when carrying out the work.

In September 1969 the more powerful 280 SE 3.5 coupé and convertible models were presented. The completely new 3.5-liter V8-engine with 200 hp was very quiet and smooth and made sports car performance possible. These new models, and also the 280 versions with the 2.8-liter 6-cylinder engine had minor external modifications. The radiator grille was lower and wider and the bonnet was accordingly lower at the front. The bumpers were also modified, now being fitted with rubber strips like on the saloons. There were no external differences between the 8-cylinder versions and the new 6-cylinder versions.
