Caltrain Stadler KISS EMU on B7 Baby Bullet

caltrain unfortunately had some delays this morning, including this trip having to run behind trains #109 and #305. this run arrived at hillsdale 42 minutes late, which allowed me to pass up #305 and experience a bullet EMU without losing much time. as expected, we didn’t go very quick due to train #305 being just ahead. regardless, the ride was super smooth and quiet — i was really impressed with the lack of jerking when going through track switches and the lack of vibration through the bayshore cutoff tunnels! and unlike my first time on the KISS, the automated announcements were working! full electric service is upon us, and i’ll really miss seeing and hearing the F40s and their horns, but am completely welcome to faster service.
