Join us in celebrating 20 years of World of Warcraft with a special remix dedicated to Illidan Stormrage. This remix is our tribute to the WoW community and the epic adventures we’ve shared. This remix is a gift for WoW’s 20th anniversary, dedicated to Blizzard Entertainment, the WoW community, and all the amazing artists, musicians, developers, writers, GMs, and Chris Metzen.

The remix explores Illidan Stormrage’s narrative, who rejected the Light’s gift to become its Champion, as depicted in the Legion cinematic. It imagines Illidan as the savior of Azeroth and the Champion of the Light in the new three-world soul saga of WoW.

Originally the idea was a parody inspired by Blizzard’s “An Ode to Returning Heroes”
for TBC Classic, this track features Johnny Cash’s train sound as a bassline.
