"It Seems Like We're Destined for Another Playoff Showdown with the Chiefs" - Kay on Bills Start

In the other game in Buffalo, the Bills continued their dominant start to the season by beating up on the Jaguars. This one was over about halfway through the 2nd quarter…

As Josh Allen was absolutely on fire…throwing for 247 yards and *4* touchdowns in the first half alone as the Bills built a 34-3 lead at halftime. He only threw 2 passes after coming back out of the locker room as they were able to coast…a lot of Mitch Trubisky from there. This partnership with Joe Brady has been incredible.

Here’s Josh after the game on what’s led to the success of this offense so far. Take a listen…

Josh hit 10 different receivers last night…6 different players scored touchdowns. I think this is the best I’ve seen him look in his career so far…which is saying a lot. He still hasn’t thrown an interception through Week 3…he’s kept his aggressive nature while not forcing it. It’s been beyond impressive. And I don’t think any TEAM that has looked more impressive over the last 2 weeks than these Buffalo Bills. Even with all of the injuries they’ve been dealt already – especially on the defensive side of the ball – they haven’t missed a beat.

But I think this next stretch is going to tell us everything we need to know about this team. At Ravens next week on Sunday Night Football, then at Texans, then a date with Aaron Rodgers at MetLife. If they can come out of that gauntlet of AFC contenders at 5-1 or still undefeated…it almost seems like we’re destined to see another high stakes playoff showdown with KC. We’ll get a little preview of that one in Week 11 by the way too.
