Large Eddy Simulation of Fuel Spray Combustion

The video shows a volume rendering of temperature in a spray combustion LES. The spray case corresponds to the "Spray A" conditions defined by the Engine Combustion Network (ECN), for details see:

The simulations were carried out using a customized flow solver implemented within the OpenFOAM framework (http://openfoam.org).
