Aave Na Jaave' is an esoteric bhajan of Sant Kabir on the non-duality nature of our existence.
It never comes, never goes.
It is never born, never Expires.
Such is That which is beyond the boundaries of whatsoever kind.
And it isn't outside but in me, for it is me.
This is the quintessence of this profound Kabir bhajan - Expressing the ecstatic state of one in ever-blissful communion with the divine

दर दिवार दर्पण भयो,
जित देखू तित तोय ।
कंकर पत्थर ठीकरी,
सब भयो आरसी मोय ॥

आवे ना जावे, मरे नहीं जन्मे,
सोई निज पीव हमारा हो ।
ना प्रथम जननी ने जनमो,
ना कोई सिर जन हारा हो ॥
आवे ना जावे, मरे नहीं जन्मे
सोई निज पीव हमारा हो...

साधनसिद्ध मुनि ना तपसी,
ना कोई करत आचारा हो ।
ना खट दर्शन चार बरन में,
ना आश्रम व्यवहारा हो ॥
आवे ना जावे, मरे नहीं जन्मे
सोई निज पीव हमारा हो...

ना त्रिदेवा सो हम शक्ति,
निराकार से पारा हो ।
शब्द अतीत अचल अविनाशी,
छर अक्षर से न्यारा हो ॥
आवे ना जावे, मरे नहीं जन्मे
सोई निज पीव हमारा हो...

ज्योति स्वरुप निरंजन नाही,
ना ओम हुंकारा हो ।
धरनी ना गगन,पवन ना पानी,
ना रवि चंदा तारा हो ॥
आवे ना जावे, मरे नहीं जन्मे

है प्रगट पर दिसत नाही,
सतगुर सैन सहारा हो ।
कहे कबीर सब घट में ही साहिब,
परखो परखन हारा हो ॥

Madhup Mudgal is an Indian Hindustani classical music vocalist, known for his khayal and bhajan renditions. A disciple of Kumar Gandharva, he is also a composer, conductor and has been principal of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, a music and dance school since 1995. He received the prestigious Padma Shri award from Government of India in 2006.
