Saltwater Redfish Fly Fishing on Bamboo and Danielsson Fly Reel.

Been a while since I posted a video Ran into a school of Redfish. I'm using my Critchfield Garrison Special Bamboo Fly 7/8 wt. with a Danielsson 3W Original Fly Reel and the line I'm using is a Monic Clear intermediate. I have not used this reel in long time and to reacquaint myself to this reel and how it functions. A great reel to use from mid to large size fish in fresh and mid-range saltwater. My other reel was sent in for repairs and the rod I've been using doesn't balance with this 3W and had to use my longer bamboo rod. Not sure how big this redfish was but I believe around 30 inches give or take. I'm fishing off a sand bar and I always try to walk back to shore to land any fish. It helps me to control and land the fish allot faster and prevent any sharks from eating my catch. I believe due to the economy; the fishing pressure has increased and people keeping fish and not releasing their catch. I understand we are living in sone challenging times. Folks have to make do with what they can get. The fishing has declined considerably in the current climate. My hope is these changes do not damage or destroy our fishery.
