A2 Pinsetter Adjustment 43—LH Interlock Blocking Finger

Описание к видео A2 Pinsetter Adjustment 43—LH Interlock Blocking Finger

For those of you who aren't pinsetter mechanics: this is the machine that puts the pins back up in a bowling alley. Part of it is broken and I'm repairing it. I hope it's an enjoyable watch!

The left-hand interlock blocking finger, properly known as the restricted drop interlock, prevents the turret from delivering pins to the deck while the deck is not fully up.

This lane was getting 180s all night, with the 5-pin jamming in the metal chute because the LH blocking finger was too low, causing the interlock probe to butt up against it rather than slide under it. I made the adjustment, tested the lane, and it fell out of adjustment immediately. Cue take two, where I go in to swap out the rusty old hardware.

In current editions of the A2 Service Manual, this adjustment can be found on page 3-46. I've included a picture at the end of the video. Please remember to always be safe while working on a machine! LOTO saves lives.
