Jimmie "Jimmy" Nicol is a British drummer, best known for temporarily replacing Ringo Starr in The Beatles for a series of concerts during the height of Beatlemania in June 1964.
Late 1965 he joined the successful Swedish instrumental group The Spotnicks, recording with them and twice touring the world. He left them in 1967.
