Unboxing of the SHURE SM7b, Cloudlifter Cl-1 and Auray Boom Arm with extension. I wanted to eliminate some extra ambient noise for voice over work so i picked this up. I currently use a Rode Shotgun mic so that is more focused than a condenser microphone but the gap between my shotgun mic and the SHURE SM7b was not that different. My particular shotgun mic is not as focused as some but it is still more focused than a condenser and a little bit behind the SHURE SM7b. It is not enough to switch if you already own a shotgun mic in my opinion. It is cheaper to purchase everything in a bundle if you do not already have these three items.
