The Shade Project is the first album created by Craig Minowa under the then-solo project Cloud Cult. Supposedly it was recorded in a makeshift recording studio he set up in his closet. There really is no information available online. Awhile ago there was a tracklist on wikipedia, which is no longer there. But years ago I compiled a mix of this album, filling in the missing songs with other early Cloud Cult songs. For the sake of purity, this version collects all the released songs that were originally on The Shade Project. I am not sure of these are the exact mixes that appeared on that album (I know for sure that the first song is the original song with added electronic sections), but this is likely the most exhaustive collection we will get until Craig decides to release the original album. Of the 20 songs, 11 have been made available to the public, some on a collection called Lost Songs From the Lost Years, Lies was a bonus on Who Killed Puck, and Ophelia was released on their patreon.

About the blashco music archive: over the years I have collected much music, some of which, surprisingly is not available online for streaming or purchase. There is no need for these lovely songs to collect digital dust on a personal hard drive, so I have packaged them into full album videos!
