Kathmandu Food Hunt (New Edition 2024)

Kathmandu Street Food hunt new edition 2024 gone wrong as we ended up in restaurants. 😂

What did we eat?

1) Aalu Chop
Deep fried boiled potatoes patties mixed with spices and then deep fried.

2) Corndog
Sausage or cheese (or both) on a stick, wrapped in batter, coated with breadcrumbs, deep-fried until golden and covered with some yummy sauce. Here, they have cheese ramen corn dog.

3) Pani puri
Pani puri is an empty deep-fried crispy dough ball stuffed with a blend of mashed potatoes, chickpeas, onions, spices and chaat masala. You eat this with the spicy pani mixture.

4) Guchha Buff momo
Guchha Mo:mo are very small steamed dumplings but what makes this dumpling special is the thick keema (minced meat) inside. Jhol is also what makes the momos so delicious.

5) Laphing
Laphing is a cold gelatinous spicy noodle dish. It’s best with jhol (soup) and waiwai (instant noodles).

6) Fokso, Sekuwa, Bhuttan, Fish Curry & Chhyang
Fokso are stuffed mutton lungs fried. Sekuwa is BBQ meat Nepali style. Bhuttan are mutton digestive organs. Fish curry is a carp fish with Nepali style curry. Chhyang is the famous Nepali rice beer.
