IMPORTANT: Make sure that you make the Margin layer symmetric around the Edge.Cut layer (e.g. left edge should be -3mm and right +3mm). Also move all contents of Silk and Fab layers so that they are inside the Margin area. I had to change the footprints so that there are no visuals of the pins on the Silk layer that would go over the Margin edge.

We cover basic KiCAD details, how to draw a schematic, create a custom footprint using the footprint editor and how to design a PCB using the PCB editor. We also put extra effort and make use of vias to make the board double-sided. Then we use MIT Mods to generate tool paths for SRM-20 from exported SVG files. Milling process will be available in a follow-up video.
