Improving multimodal transport July 2024

A brief check-in here today, and, unusually, from a Bus Interchange........

Cardiff is a European Capital City, and Transport For Wales, Cardiff Council, the Welsh Government, Network Rail and the Department for Transport (DfT) are making coordinated investments in multi-modal and integrated public transport to serve the city.

In addition to this, Network Rail have been help Transport for Wales deliver a very significant investment in brand new trains that are now operating across the wider Wales and Borders railway network.

In this blog, I visit the recently opened Bus Interchange which is situated adjacent to Cardiff Central Railway station. A lovely facility, and making modal changes in public transport easy and safe.

We also welcome a visit from the DfT.
