We've been so lucky to have three rare astronomical events in the the Northeast in 2024, all in warm(ish) weather months too. Incredible!

Here is my experience at Crater Lake in the Delaware Water Gap, during peak fall foliage no less, and witnessing Comet A3 Tsuchinshan–ATLAS.

Comet footage shot on a Sony A7IV with Tamron 70-180mm lens. I found the best setting in the situation to be 4" / 70mm / iso 320.
