Nestor Skip 50% Consistency On Console (PS2)

Описание к видео Nestor Skip 50% Consistency On Console (PS2)

I was gonna stream some attempts, actually I did as a test, but that's just not reasonable with my internet. I drop frames like a man who cannot hold all his frames.

Anyway, every so often, I like to remind people that this trick has a rhythm and the idea that its some impossible wall is an illusion. Hold X for a moment to get a full hop, hit Circle to flame when you let go of X on the way up, hit Square to charge at the top of the jump, Hit X when you hit the ground, Hold X for a moment to get a full hop, Hit Square to charge at the top of the jump, Hit X to glide. You want to see it in action, in a tutorial environment? Here's a link, though it should be noted that the tutorial was on Emulator, which has some input lag. The Rhythm between the buttons is exactly the same, but input lag means mentally shifting them all to be a fraction later, which was admittedly muscle memory I had to overcome when doing console attempts    • A No-Nonsense Nestor Skip Tutorial

Other Tips:

DO NOT ROLL YOUR THUMB from Square to X on the charge and glide, that will likely go too fast. When you glide too fast, you flop before you're high enough on Nestor to ride on top of him. I personally flex my thumb to hit X after the Square press I.E. the top of my thumb hits Square and the palm-side knuckle of my thumb hits X.

DO NOT WAIT TO JUMP IN FRONT OF NESTOR, if you do, you will not conserve your momentum and your jump will be different, and that's death to the rhythm of the trick. Its technically possible to hit the trick if you wait, but I wish it weren't, because its absolute Fool's Gold. Its clearly not a path to consistency, because if it was, everyone I ever tried to help with this would be consistent, because they literally all do it. YES, you might jump into Nestor if you jump a frame too early. I get that that sucks, but its honestly a useful barometer when you're learning the rhythm. You know exactly how early you were, because you literally can't jump any earlier.

DO NOT TRY TO PRESS ANY BUTTONS SIMULTANEOUSLY, all of my button presses are distinct. They are quick, the trick is quick, but I'm not attempting to chain them together as fast as I possibly can.

Finally, if you use the nerd emoji, I will be sad. People waste a lot of time trying to get this and I want to save them that time. So excuse my effort in this long description full of things I've definitely said before but nobody listens I am Cassandra from the Hercules Animated TV Show oops I mean actual Greek Mythology
