Here is the second installment in our series on Western Australian carnivorous plants. Today we have Utricularia australis, the Yellow Bladderwort.

While not an endemic species to Western Australia, it does give a great introduction to the bladderworts, showing us all of the features that gives them the title of the fastest plant on the planet. From here we can have a look at the amazing diversity of bladderworts we have in this part of the world.
