This video is the result of a three-day work in which we over-recorded in turn, trying to follow each other, the beautiful "Poco Adagio" by Dvorak, from his Piano Trio n.3.
Sharing music through the internet can never replace a live concert and this is even more true in chamber music, if you live in different places and are unable to rehearse together: many passages were difficult at a distance would have been very easy if we were together, because they could have been resolved through a nod, a breath, a very small gesture of understanding: the result of years of study and improvement experience together, side by side.
Equally this alchemy can be well understood by an audience who listens to the performance in a concert hall, who hears the vibrations of music spreading through the air and through the floor, who is therefore a spectator who participates in the performance.
Despite these limitations we want to share this project with you, because music is our life and keeps us alive, keeping us company in isolation, in the hope that it will soon be possible to return to play in the way we all love most.
