Starfleet's OVERUSED Starship - Miranda-class

Why does Starfleet use so many of them? Are they cheap to manufacture and then throw away in battle, or are they just really good at their tasks? We’ll explore this today as we dive into our Star Trek Starships Explained Series: The Miranda Class. Coming in at 233 Metres, the Miranda-class starship, a Medium Cruiser, was introduced in the early 2260s. It would suit 220 officers and crew while having a 500-personal evacuation limit.
