We'll use a small ball during this prenatal Pilates workout. I loved this flow! Deep core, hamstrings, hips, glutes, inner thighs, obliques, triceps — lots of total body work!

You don't need to be pregnancy to do class! I'll cue for pregnancy, but we've got some great work in class for everyone.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
We'll start with a warm up and move into tabletop work targeting deep core, hamstrings, and glutes. That transitions us into a fun combo for hips, balance, and functional core.

We then come down for side lying work, which challenges obliques, abductors, and then inner thighs.

We finish class with triceps work and a cool down.

I don't want to label this a second trimester Pilates class because every pregnancy is so different—you absolutely may be comfortable doing the movements in this class throughout your third trimester as well. For reference though, I am 22 weeks along in this video.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

I'm so excited to share prenatal Pilates workouts with you all throughout my pregnancy! In addition to being a STOTT trained Pilates Instructor, I am a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (certified through CES). So you're in good hands! That being said, I'm not there in the room with you to form-correct and give individual guidance. You should always consult with your doctor before partaking in a new form of movement. If anything doesn't feel right with your body or causes pain, stop. Every pregnancy is different, and your doctor's advice trumps any guidance I provide in these prenatal Pilates videos.
