Let's Talk: Jeffree Star New Collection, Mystery Bags, and Cotton Candy Queen Review

Hello hello! Poppin in for a get ready with me (GRWM) using the recent Cotton Candy Queen Palette from last year! We discuss the new Watermelon Wealth collection coming out, the items in the mystery bags, and review the Cotton Candy Queen palette from Jeffree Star Cosmetics.

Overall I wasn't very impressed with this easter egg color story. Some of the shades are ok but all the shimmers are lack luster and this palette just doesn't go with my vibe. It's washed out, like water colors and might be great for someone who only likes one shadow looks but there's a reason you always see this palette paired with ANOTHER palette. I don't think this palette can stand on it's own and is a complimentary palette. The yellows were awful. The pinks and blues were decent but there's no way you don't already have comparable colors in another JSC or other brand palettes. This purple look is a cute moment but I already know which palettes exactly I would grab if I wanted these colors. I love one purple sparkly shade in here and I do think these shadows last a long time, but personally I can't recommend this palette at full price. If need be, get it on sale but I'm sure you can live without this.
