Tight hip flexors (quadriceps) can often lead to tension, tightness and pain in the hips, back, shoulders, neck and chest.

Stretching out these shortened muscles will help keep the body in a more upright and erect posture, lessening tension and tightness.

The four stretches shown here progress in intensity and should be done on the floor or on a table.
