Insights into the life of elite para athletes

In this episode, we had the pleasure of hosting Fabienne André and Eden Raibow-Cooper, two absolute stars of para wheelchair racing. Fabienne is a current European champion and world medallist competing in the T34 category, having also competed in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Eden, a T54 athlete, recently made history claiming victory in the women's wheelchair race at the prestigious Boston Marathon in April 2024, a first for Great Britain.

Throughout our conversation, we delved into their journeys. From navigating the intricacies of para sport, managing their conditions, juggling work commitments and funding pressures, to becoming part time engineers, and also Fabienne’s future on ‘The Great British Bake Off’, it is a really inspirational chat.
