✳️ TOTAL 21 CARTONS CONTAINING 1025 QUARTERS OF FRESH MOTA DESI ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED AND SEIZED.
✳️ ACCUSED SUBODH @ RAVI PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 2 MORE EXCISE CASES REGISTEED AT PS VASHANT KUNJ NORTH, NEW DELHI.

A team of Special Staff, South West District had done a commendable work by arresting one illicit liquor supplier namely Subodh @ Ravi S/o Sh. Birender Dass, R/o Gali No. 1, L- Block, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, age 23 years. With his arrest, total 21 cartons containing 1025 quarters of Fresh Mota Desi illicit liquor (for sale in Haryana only) were recovered and seized.

TEAM, INFORMATION AND OPERATION:
Keeping in view the directions of Senior Officers to curb the sale, supply & storage of illicit liquor in jurisdiction of South West District, a team of Special Staff, South West District was specifically tasked and the team roped various informers in this regard. On 22.06.24, a secret information was received to HC Satpal Samota regarding the sale and storage of illicit liquor in Vasant Kunj North area. Accordingly, a team of Special Staff consisting of SI Manish, SI Krishan Kumar, ASI Rajeshwar, HC Satpal Samota, HC Sandeep, HC Sanjay, HC Jagparvesh, Ct Vikas and Ct Suraj under the leadership of Inspr. Pawan Dahiya, I/C Special Staff/SWD and under the guidance of Sh. Devender Kumar Singh, ACP/Ops was constituted. The team conducted a raid near Arjun Camp, Mahipalpur, New Delhi and nabbed one person namely Subodh @ Ravi S/o Sh. Birender Dass along with 1025 quarters of illicit liquor i.e. Fresh Mota Desi illicit liquor for sale in Haryana only which was hidden in nearby park.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.138/2024, dated 22.06.2024, u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act, PS Vasant Kunj North was registered and accused person Subodh @ Ravi was arrested in this case. Total 21 cartons containing 1025 quarters of Fresh Mota Desi illicit liquor (for sale in Haryana only) were recovered and seized.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
Accused Subodh @ Ravi S/o Sh. Birender Dass, R/o Gali No. 1, L- Block, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, age 23 years is previously involved in 2 more excise case registered at PS Vashant Kunj North, Delhi.

Previous Involvements:
Case FIR No. 343/2022 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act, PS VK North, Delhi
Case FIR No. 203/2023 U/s 33 Delhi Excise Act, PS VK North, Delhi.

RECOVERY:
1. Total 21 cartons containing 1025 quarters of Fresh Mota Desi illicit liquor (for sale in Haryana only).

Further, investigation is in progress.
