Sometimes DLD's hard, digital edges show themselves as audible clicks when it's heavily modulated. It annoys me a little when it's unintentional, but in this patch I've just embraced it, and I think those artifacts make a wonderful contrast to the pure, soft chord tones from Plaits.

Patch notes:

This one's quite simple, really: Marbles generates random, quantized CVs, which I use to sequence Plaits notes and chord changes (inversions and transposition via the Timbre parameter). I use the smooth random Y output to modulate Plaits' level, producing randomly timed volume swells. These sounds are then sent to DLD for some stereo ping-pong echoes.

But then it gets glitchy! I'm using Marbles' trigger outputs – two of which are randomly triggered or skipped according to independent coin flips (that's the alternate green mode), and all three with a liberal amount of jitter – to toggle infinite hold and reverse for the delay lines. The last quantized random CV output is patched to modulate the delay clock divisions/multiples, and the delay times are are also offset left and right by the panel controls for more stereo movement. The result is this random rhythmical stuttering effect, and lots of snappy, digital edges!
