Universities, schools, colleges, and departments of education have moved online quickly and at scale to enable students and staff to continue learning, working, and researching. In this session, we share some of the lessons learned in the short term, as well as considerations for next steps and long-term plans regarding curriculum, assessment and testing availability, resilient systems, security, and identity. We also share examples of how educators, students, and policy makers are implementing strategies and making plans for the next two to three years, and we discuss how education and research are evolving as a result.

Jude leads AWS’s cloud innovation centres and similar customer co-innovation programmes across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining AWS, Jude was CEO and a member of the board at Eduserv, a provider of software and cloud services. Jude enjoys helping put cloud technology to work for public sector organisations and the people they serve.
