Death is inevitable, yet how one chooses to leave their loved ones is often neglected in the midst of life’s worst moments. Navigating the discussion of death is not an easy conversation with the living, especially when relating to our parents. Dr. Kevin Haselhorst emphasizes the importance of these conversations and provides five important tasks for making end-of-life transitions easier for both parties involved. Founder of Graceful
Departures and emergency
physician, Kevin Haselhorst is
the author of “Wishes to Die
For” and “Is Palliative Care
Right for YOU?”.

As an avid yogi and holistic
medical coach, he integrates
spiritual wisdom with medical
knowledge to calm emotions
for peace of mind during
serious illness conversations
with parents and their children. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
