Karachi's Neighbourhood FB Area History
In 1953, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Boghra launched a grand houseing scheme called Munsora for government employees in Karachi. However, the scheme was later got more popularity with the name of Federal B Area. The scheme was launched in Karachi as the city was the capital of Pakistan first but in 1960 Islamabad was given the status of the country's capital resulted in loss the designated value of the Mansora Scheme.

Mansora, generally known as Federal B Area, was constructed on 22 blocks out of which two blocks were designated to Industrial Blocks. The main street to get into the Fedreal B Area called Shahr-e-Pakistan, which considered as one of the national streets The street was inaugurated by Ex President of the Country YahYa Khan on April 29, 1980. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by East Pakistan Governor Lt Gen Ateeq ur Rehman, Industrial Minister Hafeez Uddin, Karachi Commissioner Masood Nabi Noor, Dupty Commisoner Kunwar Idrees, DIG Police Muhammad Yousuf, and all armed forces heads. The street Shahr-e-Pakistan strats from Liaqatabad No 10 and ends at Sohrab Goth. Kareemabad, Ayesha Manzil, Water Pump, Yousuf Plaza, and Ancholi are situated on the both sides of the street.
The Streets between Sohrab Goth and Hyderabad is called M9 Motorway. As the Shahr-e-Pakistan connects with the motorway, heavy tarffic including good transporters also se Shahr-e-Pakistan to go outside of the city and to maintain traffic flow three bridges were aslo constructed on the street.

In 1990, a devastating incident was also occured in Federal B Area. Fire was erupted in residential building Azmat Corner and a woman jumpe d out of the building to save her life but couldn't be able to save her two kids who were burned to death in the building. Another devastating incident place in Federal B Area Block 12, when a man on enmity killed his wife, mother-in-law, and two brother-in-law. When armed operation was started against Muthida Quami Movement who was politically very strong in FB Area, multiple historical inicidents were occured in the area. During operation, Ex CM Sindh Abdullah Shah's brother Ehsan Ullah Shah was killed in block 12 by friring of unknown accused. On September 09, 1995, brother and niece of MQM Founder Altaf Hussain were abducted. Later bodies of them were found from Gadap. on May 18, 2000, renowned religious scholar Mulana Muhammad Yousuf Ludhyani was killed on Shahr-e-Pakistan when he was going to a religious gathering. On jaunary 1, 2001 a dead body of a underworld don Ibraheem Bholo from a under construction building of Block 10. On January 2, 2013 a bomb blast was occured near Ayesha Manzil, killed two injured 50.
On November 23, 2013, three bomb blast were occured near tea shop in Ancholi Block 20. 8 people were killed at over 35 were injured in blasts. On May 22, 2019 two traffic policemen were killed by firing of unknown armed men under Ayesha Manzil Bridge.
The prominent places of Federal B Area includes Yousuf Plaza, U.K Square, Mam Jee Hospital, Government Alama Iqbal School, Centeal Fire Station, Arshi Shopping Center and Cinema, Aga Khan Maternity Center, Islamic Research Center, Imam Bargah Syed Al-Shudah, Aga Khan Jamat Khana, Government Sirajudullah College, APWA Girls College, Director School Education Office, Imam Bargah Shoaib Abi Talib, Mena Bazar, Bazar Faisal, Aga Khan School, Al Azam Square, Shakeel Corporation, Delhi Govt Boys School, Javeed Nihari House, Farzana Dawa Khana

Many prominent personalities were also used to live in FB Area in including Alama Rasheed Turabi, Alama Talib Johri, MQM Chairman Azeem Ahmed Tariq, Dr Imran Farooq, MQM MNA Amen Ul Haq, Ex Dupty Speaker Abdul Razzak Khan, Senator Syed Ishtiaq Azhar, Ex MNA Wakeel Ahmed Jamali, Ruyat-e-Hilal committe Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman, KU Ex Vice Chancellor Munsoor Uddin Ahmed, Test Cricketer Javed Miyadad, Dr Farooq Mam Jee, Builder Rukin Uddin Khan, Industrialist Mumtaz Shamem, Senator Zahid Akhter, Jamat-e-Islami Ex Vice President Prof Ghafoor Ahmed, Poet Ather Nafees, Naseer Turabi, Raqib Murad Abadi, Saleem Ahmed, Brocaster Qamar Jamel, Iqbal Fareedi, Zubair Usmani, Mehmod Usmani, Journalist Naseem Shad, Syed Muhammad Ali, Idrees Bakhtiyar, Shoaib Ahmed, Hayat Aziz Naqvi, Imran Ahmed, Muhammas Ali Siddiqui, Rifat Syed, Rashid Farooqi, Israr Ayubi, Tauqeer Baig, Qadir Pasha, Dilshad Ali, Dr Siraj Sheikh, Imran Ahmed Khan, Social activists Tariq Mehboob, Arif Qasmi, and Ex Director Parks Shehzad Khan. In 1990s famous singer Abida Parveen used to live in Casmose Plaza and actor Anwer Solangi used to live in Yousuf Plaza.
