🌀 There is increasing confidence that a tropical system will develop and move into the Gulf next week.
Until the system actually forms, we can't be specific about its track, timing, intensity, or impact. ❔ Currently, models are creating the storm from scratch, rather than basing projections on data from an existing storm. We need an actual storm to form for a more confident forecast.
👀 Keep an eye out for updates over the weekend. Now is an excellent time to ensure you have a complete hurricane supply kit ready. Also, finish any outdoor work around your house, such as tree trimming or general cleanup. Aim to complete these tasks before the end of the upcoming week.
