June 30, 2019 (Panatad)- 175th Apalit Town Fiesta in honor of Apung Iru & Apung Ambu

The last day of the town fiesta features an age-old tradition that makes our fiesta so unique. Most of the towns and cities across the country only celebrate fiestas for two days comprising of the Visperas and Kafiestan while here in Apalit, the fiesta is celebrated for three days. The third and last day is known as the Panatad or paghatid in Tagalog where the devotees join Apung Iru in his journey back to his repositorio in Brgy. Capalangan, thus giving an opportunity for the Apaliteños to join in the celebration after entertaining visitors on June 28 and 29.
