Chevy Equinox Stalling - How to Fix - P0010 P0011 | Step-by-Step Guide

My 2016 Chevy Equinox has been great for 100,000 miles. Then one day it stalled at a traffic light. I was able to start the car and drive fine. A few days later it happened again, this time with a little sputtering when i pressed the gas. And a check engine light came on the dashboard.
Using the OBD2 scanner i read the fault code: P0010 "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1). (The P0011 fault code is for the exhaust solenoid) VVT Valve Kit
Luckily the replacement part was cheap - only $20 for 2 solenoids - and i only needed to replace one. Replacing the Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid was pretty easy, only took 30 minutes. I also cleaned out the throttle body with some cleaner. The check engine light went away and the car hasn't stalled since.

Fix - check engine error code (P0010, P0011, P0013 and P0014) and restore your lost performance.
