It's the shortest day of the year (for the Northern Hemisphere), the winter solstice - felt appropriate to put this up today!

I feel like rewatching Arrival again. I love that movie so much! I think of it in the same breath I think of Inception or Interstellar, just really good movies that make me question the nature of [spoiler]. Please watch Arrival if you haven't, and go in as blind as possible!

I know this piece was used in Shutter Island too (which is also a great movie!) but I will always link it deeply with Arrival since it was used in such a beautifully symbolic way and I get emotional just thinking about it.

[I actually recorded this before the last video, but I wanted to come back with that one since this one's so much more subdued in nature~ And today is such a good day to put it up!]
