We are doing our best to try and keep the Rats out of this Chicken coop. It seems like these rats can get in to anything. So, we put wire in the floor and sand over the wire. I don't know if we can out smart the rats or not. Also we are hoping to keep other type of predators out of the Coop. We don't want these Breese Chickens to come in contact with any other animals, including birds. It has given us a scare with the bird flu news. We sure do hope that we will never have the bird flu in our area, but it is always good to be precautious. The New Coop is turning out a lot better than we ever expected. We are bad about not finishing the little things, but soon as the rain moves out we hope to finish it up completely.
