Before he even began with exercise and diet, there was something else he focused on.

In today’s video, I explain the ONE thing that truly makes a difference with weight loss.

It’s your mindset!

Without changing your mindset, you’ll stay stuck with old patterns, behaviors, and habits.

There are 6 key lessons that Craig learned throughout his journey.

I’m going to share them with you to help you make long-term changes.

#1 - Reframe Your Identity

You need to self identify as someone who looks after themselves, eats healthy, and exercises regularly, not as someone who simply TRIES to do these things.
This is a subtle, but very powerful mindset shift.

#2 - Break The Cycle

An 'all or nothing’ mindset is one of the biggest killers of weight loss success.
One bad meal or one skipped workout shouldn’t mean you quit completely.
Train yourself to make the next choice a good one, and move forward.

#3 - Progress, Not Perfection

Leading on from the 'all or nothing', focusing on progress over perfection is key.
Perfection is a complete MYTH, and you’ll always fail if you chase it.
Seek momentum instead.

#4 - Master The Scale

The scale is nothing to be scared of. At 330lbs, it could have been Craig’s worst enemy.
Use your scale as a tool to help see your progress.

#5 - Expect Weight Swings

Understand that weight swings WILL happen, no matter how closely you follow your plan.
If you have a mindset that accepts this, you’ll make faster and more consistent progress.

#6 - Focus On The Overall Trend

As long as the overall weekly trend is going in the right direction, you’re doing fine.
If you have a day or 2 where your weight goes up, but across the week it’s down, you’ve done the right thing.
Extend the timeline you focus on, and it'll all work out.
