Some of the main topics we worry about now are the climate change, microplastic, and excessive amount of trash, polluting beautiful beaches, stunning forests and shiny oceans. In these circumstances, I am flying over the moon everytime I manage to skip using a brand new product, and instead use a material that was supposed to go to waste - in the process of making my art matrixes. Happiness in the spirit of the closed cycle. This miniprint is made on a package - an empty cartonbox after quinoa plant based milk, with a silver coloured protective coating inside. This layer is what makes it possible to use the box as a matrix - it stops the absorption of the ink by the matrix, making it possible to clean the surface, and avoiding unneccessary waste of ink.

I made this video to spread the knowledge about this technique, and possibility to re-use "tetrapack" packages to printmake. There are more videos on that subject to come in the next months! If it interests you, stay around - I am posting weekly videos of art travels, illustration and printmaking.
