This first half of this trail was the most gruelling section of the four days I spent hiking, but hiking with new friends made it that much easier.
900m of climbing seemed to take forever but the scenery was gorgeous; some of the best I'd seen so far. I was blown away by everything on this trail...and with the insane wind at the top of the pass, it was almost literal.
