एक छोटे से गाँव में गणेश चतुर्थी बड़े धूमधाम से मनाई जाती थी। हर साल बच्चे मिट्टी से बप्पा की मूर्ति बनाते और पूरे दस दिन मिलकर पूजा करते। ढोल-नगाड़ों और आरती की ध्वनि से पूरा गाँव गूंज उठता।

दसवें दिन जब विसर्जन का समय आया तो एक छोटा बच्चा अचानक रो पड़ा। उसने कहा—
“हम बप्पा को पानी में क्यों विसर्जित करें? क्या वो हमारे साथ नहीं रह सकते?”

गाँव के बुज़ुर्ग मुस्कराए और उसके सिर पर हाथ रखकर बोले—
“बेटा, गणेश जी मिट्टी से बने हैं, मिट्टी में ही लौटेंगे। यही प्रकृति का नियम है। हर शुरुआत का एक अंत होता है, और हर अंत से नई शुरुआत होती है। वे हमें सिखाते हैं कि संसार में कुछ भी स्थायी नहीं है। लेकिन याद रखो, भगवान मूर्ति में नहीं, हमारे दिल और कर्मों में बसते हैं।”

बच्चे ने यह सुनकर आँसू पोंछे। उसे लगा जैसे उसका सबसे प्यारा दोस्त उससे दूर जा रहा है, लेकिन अब उसने समझ लिया कि बप्पा तो हमेशा उसके साथ रहेंगे। वह मुस्कराया और विसर्जन की भीड़ में सबके साथ शामिल हो गया।

👉 इस तरह गणेश विसर्जन हमें सिखाता है कि

त्याग और स्वीकार करना जरूरी है।

असली भक्ति अंदर के विश्वास और अच्छे कर्मों में है, न कि बाहर की चीज़ों में।

In a small village, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great joy and devotion. Every year, the children would come together to make an idol of Bappa out of clay and worship Him for ten days. The sound of drums, cymbals, and evening prayers would fill the entire village with devotion.

On the tenth day, when it was time for Visarjan (immersion of the idol), a little boy suddenly started crying. He said,
“Why should we immerse Bappa in water? Can’t He stay with us forever?”

The village elder smiled, placed his hand gently on the boy’s head, and said,
“My child, Lord Ganesha is made of clay, and He must return to the clay. This is the law of nature. Every beginning has an end, and every end brings a new beginning. He teaches us that nothing in this world is permanent. But remember, God does not live in the idol—He lives in our hearts and in our actions.”

Hearing this, the child wiped his tears. He felt as if his dearest friend was going away, but now he understood that Bappa would always remain with him. Smiling, he joined the others in the Visarjan procession with peace in his heart.

👉 Thus, Ganesh Visarjan teaches us that—

Letting go and acceptance are necessary.

True devotion lies in faith and good deeds, not in external objects.
