MUST WATCH! Motorhome & Caravan Payloads

Описание к видео MUST WATCH! Motorhome & Caravan Payloads

Many caravans, camper vans, and motorhomes are overloaded. While the vehicles themselves are safe, misleading marketing messages, poor information, and a lack of transparency can lead to many people taking to the road in a dangerous state, yet be doing so in all innocence.

I made this video after I met someone on a campsite with the same caravan that I am using, a Bailey Discovery D4-2, and they had had a motor mover fitted. Having had my own D4-2 weighed, I knew that these people only had about 10kg of usable payload, yet their cupboards were packed with all their bits and pieces. They had no idea that their caravan was overweight.

CARAVAN AND MOTORHOME CLUB TECHNICAL PAGES

PLEASE CHECK THE CLUB WEBSITE
While this video is primarily about payloads, I do mention driving licences and the written text mentions 'medical' for over 70s towing a caravan. What it is meant to say is 'possible medical' as, of course, we all need to reapply for our licence when we hit 70. Normally you should keep your B+E entitlement if you already have one.

You don't need to be a member to check licencing information or how to load your caravan or motorhome using the CAMC website. It's free of charge to access at:
