Woodies Rock Shop goes Herkimer Diamond hunting! We had a great time! Herkimer Diamond hunting isn't easy. This is a VERY condensed video of one of the pockets we found that had 4 nice "herks". It took over an hour to get both sides of this pocket removed from the host rock. Definitely tough digging but totally worth it!
We went to Ace of Diamonds because they were the only place open while we were in town. This video was taken in the huge pile of tailings at the bottom of the hill-that is where we had our best luck that day.
